Overall, a great training tool. Great feedback. The only gotcha is that if you are changing the way you swing, the speed reading doesn't seem to be able to capture the improvement in swing speed. Use it once your swing has stabilized.

Great training aid that can be used with or without the app. As a newbie to golf I have found a real need to increase my drives since they started out rather puny. This device is one of the answers I found while searching the internet, and I must say it has a good feature set for the price. Like everything else that is of value, you won't gain anything just by reading about it; you will have to apply good practice that includes proper hand positions, proper stance, good takeaway, backswing, downswing and follow-through. There are no short-cuts to a powerful swing, just practice with purpose. On my last trip to the driving range my drives were going 20-30 yards longer than before (I'm thinking it's time for an SC4 Pro to get better stats!). I wasn't trying to exert more effort, just using my newly acquired feel for the swing. I have read some of the wish lists for added features, and I also think it would be nice to be able to select a club; however, swinging a short club generates less speed than a longer club. The software could be rewritten to calculate an offset for the swing speed based on club selection. There must be a large database of accumulated swing data that could be used to approximate the drop in speed from a driver to a 6 wood, etc. so that the measured swing speed could be adjusted to that value before being displayed. Perfect? Of course not; but closer than one size fits all.

This golf trainer has really helped me improve my swing speed and tempo. Unlike some of the cheaper similar products on Amazon, it feels very well built, and connecting it to the app provides much more detailed swing data. One improvement I’d like to see is the ability to select different club types to get more accurate distance estimates, rather than being limited to the default driver distance setting. Overall, a great training tool for improving your swing.

The SS10 is a great product to help me t to improve swing tempo and swing speed.

The SS10 is a great tool to use as a warm up tool or practice your swing speed. It would be great if the tool could also include metrics to include swing form, as speed means nothing, if your form is off. Nonetheless, still a great product for the cost.

VC SS10 is a great tool to practice swing speed. As one other reviewer mentioned, it would be great if possible to expand the metrics further but even as it is at this moment, it works fine for swing speed training. I love it and carry it with me everywhere I go. :-)

Very good training aid. It has definitely helped my tempo and speed. No regrets

The device feels solid and metrics are great feedback for swing practice - swing speed, distance, and especially tempo. The display is nice and easy to read and the click is very satisfying. One facet I find lacking though is addressing the club like a short iron and swinging it still results in the distance showing upwards to 200yds. Of course, I can't hit my short iron 200yds. It would be great if in a future firmware update the stick has the ability to let the user pick a specific club and the distance metric matches the selected club. Overall a solidly constructed feeling swing aid with a satisfying click and usable metrics for feedback to enhance practice sessions.

Having a lot of fun and swing speed increase with it.

The SS10 is an excellent training tool to analyze your swing and to improve your swing. The monitor let's you know where your swing status is and for improving your swing speed. Highly recommended.

It is a great of equipement for indoor practice. It would be nice if swing patterns (such as swing plane, movement, and approaching angles) were included in the future.

I live the swing stick. It gives you instant information on your swing. It gas an audio click so you can hear proper release point.

The SS10 is good to measure your swing speed but there is max speed limit to 112 and the max distance to 300 yards. I use it while swing practicing with a actual club.

Works good.

This is well designed swing aid and really like the lag click; very helpful. My only concern was with the mph. Is the mph for the actual 27 inch club that this is or is it doing some algorithm to show what I would be swinging my 45 inch driver at?

The SS10 is a convenient training tool to use off the course and range. When I first received it the unit was not powering. I figured it was a dead battery so I plugged in a USB-C and the screen was saying there were charging issues. I reached out to customer support and they suggested processes to address the issue. None of them worked. I later figured out the unit just needed to be plugged into power long enough where there is enough battery charged to get off the error screen. Reported this finding back to CS and haven’t heard back from them 🤷🏻‍♂️ Using the SS10 is satisfying as there is a weight on the end and it’ll “crack” on a successful swing. The feedback is quite nice. The mobile app leaves a lot to be desired. There are notable accessibility issues off the bat, especially with account registration.

I have been using for over a week now and while my numbers have gone up they are no where near my actual driver numbers or even irons. I have tested on Trackman and my swing speed is 105mph. I also own an SC4Pro and SC300i. Both of those read driver at around 100-103mph. Swing stick is only reading in the 60s with the occasional 70s. I can swing my PW faster than that. Swing stick has a weight inside and first time I heard it i thought I had cracked it. It also didnt do it until about 150 swings in. It must have been stuck. Going to keep trying and will see if my speed actually goes up with my own clubs.

Does not register past 112mph. Multiple people who can max out over 120mph get caught in 112mph.

The tempo portion seems helpful but the swing speed and distance seems to get stuck on a certain number at times. My swing, no golfers swing can be that consistent. That tells me the unit isn’t calibrated correctly or just isn’t very accurate. I can be more specific with numbers if you want.

Customer support has been terrible as the person does not know the product
